Ok guys, the WCW Invitational will go on as planned, June 28th. This tournament is for the WCW Top 20. If you finished in the top 20 you are eligible to fish the tournament. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded to the top 3.

Normal Tournament rules apply- no sharks, skates or rays. Heaviest single fish. Launch at 6, weigh in on the sand at noon, you know the drill.

No need to sign up, we'll see you there! :cheers1:

Hope to see you all there!

Brent will be at the launch at 5 for check in. He'll weigh fish at kellogg park (grassy area by the parking lot) at 12:30, so bring your fish over there. :cheers1:

Don't forget, the awards ceremony will also be held at Kellogg, so show up for some bbq even if you have nothing to weigh.

Do squid count????

My strategy has been leaked, I was thinking the same thing. On a side note, that thing was delicious, much better than I remembered.

Pre-fished LJ this morning. Still lots of bait! If T-Sharks were on the menu it would be a real shoot-out! Good luck to all tomarrow. :D

Is there any chance we can do a "lines in" at six instead of launch? That seemed to work well last time.

Next to a certafied weight in a tournament, this is the best idea since sliced bread.

Sooo, third that.

After considering my new top speed ability (the Hobie), maybe a 6:00 launch will work out to my advantage......so nevermind. No need to :paddleersmilie: anymore.

Brent will be there at approx. 5 am to check everyone in and collect the optional $20 jackpot. Once you have checked in you can launch & make bait. Lines in will be at 6am. Any fish hooked prior to 6am will not count. Fishing stops at noon & weigh in will close at 12:30 sharp at Kellogg Park in the usual spot.

Looking forward to it. :kayak-surfer: See you guys in the morning.
