need help

can anyone tell me how to add a second transducer to an lowrance hds? im trying to add a second transducer to channel 1 blue connector and I think I might be doing something wrong? I only see one transducer slot in the sonar menu. do I have to go to installation menu to switch between the transducers every time? help please.

Forgive my ignorance, are you trying to run two transducers at once, or just changing transducer types? Guessing you want to toggle between total scan ducer and downscan transducer?
