Big waves and lots of fish at LJ [Archive] - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Fished La Jolla today 4/2 surf was a rodeo going out but after making it out fishing was great. Lots of kelp bass, kelp rockfish, sheephead, and whitefish. Fished 70-150’ on small pockets of fish with shrimp. Red tide was clearing up a little more then On Monday trip. Found some clearer water hear and there about two miles off. Glad you got out and hooked into some fish and nice to hear the water is clearing up!
