Water Temp: 68º F
Water Clarity: Chocolate Milk
Hit the ramp at about 6:30 AM and head south out of the harbor. Stayed in about 20-30 ft of water and managed to find a couple areas with cleaner water.
Jigged a 40g spoon for a couple decent sized calicos while trying to make bait. Bait schools I found consisted mainly of sardines and were pretty skittish. Only managed 1 sardine and a mini mac.

Around 10 a.m headed toward the beach and drifted the mini mac in around 10-15 ft and followed the shoreline back to the harbor. Snagged in front of Doheny when I popped it free and brought it towards the surface saw a quick brown flash following it. Dropped it back down and it was hit instantly. After that initial drag burner it came up without much of a fight and the first leagal of the year at 24"
