info on transducer install

I'm interested to get the GARMIN–ECHOMAP Plus g3 74cv Fishfinder/Chartplotter Combo with GT23 Transducer.
Has anyone installed the transducer into the Lowrance ready spot of Revo 13 or do I need to get the trailbaza sidebar?

If the transducer fits in the Hobie fishfinder bay, put it there. Anything hanging over the side is an extra unwanted drag.

The Gt-23 seems a bit long to fit inside the lowrance ready bay. Do a test fit to see if it's even possible.
