Excellent haul. All bugs look good size and some biggies. Can't wait to do that in my Solo Skiff. Congrats.

All LEGAL and then some...

Way "EASIER" and "FUNNER" on a Solo Skiff. Not to mention, how quick and maneuverable, especially around the bigger boats.

Are those eel teeth marks on your bait tube? I know someone who got bit by one and it really did some damage. Nice lobsters plus a bonus one.

Pulled up on a particular net, felt something big, something thumping. . .

Kept the pulling and BAM, horned tooth shark. about 3 feet curled up making off with lobster food.

Eels are the worst, I'm always looking 2x for them. What sucks is when you have a keeper and an eel in the same net thumping around. Putting your hand in there is no fun. Eels must know my go ID#.

From the sound of it lobster season has been a slow, painful, hardly worth doing it chore. I'm sure these are the few pictures of success.. what we aren't seeing are the scores of failures from others and their "i almost died" stories.

Best to not start. :D

I've worked in the aquarium industry most my life. I had a cooworker at an importer/wholesaler up in LA that had a big Tessalata Eel(A fancier-looking type of moray) latch onto his arm. The thing got lockjaw and would not let go, even when trying to pry it off with screwdrivers/pliers/etc. It took like an hour to get the thing off and he had to go to the ER and take a bunch of antibiotics to prevent infection. The eel was almost dried up, but once it was back in the tank, it recovered pretty quickly too. That was the worst I've seen. I've personally been bitten by a Mexican Dragon eel, a Gold-Headed Moray, and a tiny Snowflake eel while servicing aquariums. It's not a good time and I don't recommend it. The one in that pot is a beast too!
