Congratulations on your new trailer! Amazingly light, Looks like you made some nice improvements to it. Surprised to see that most of the kayaks at Pure Watersports storage facility lack covers. The sun would destroy them pronto if that was in Florida. Hopefully, the mobility of the trailer helps you have a good year of fishing - Cheers!

Thanks Frank

I changed out the shocks that make the trailer rated to hold upto 350#’s so that you can add as many upto that weight. Yakima makes several adapters/holders that help secure them to the trailer.

Sorry for the long delayed reply. I haven’t been receiving notifications.

The shocks are the upgraded Yakima 350# version available on their websites.

It rides very well! After awhile you forget that your even pulling a trailer. No bouncing at all, freeway driving is no problem at all. The person I bought it from drove it across country from Georgia.

I drive it at 60mph (speed limit is 55mph while towing) It uses Kenda motor cycle tires and tubes so they are rated for a lower towing speed.
