Kayak Fishing The Dana Point Surf Break During Red Tide

We had some Pretty good weather forecasted for last Saturday, so we decided to hit the beach and target halibut. The weather and conditions have been pretty crummy for the last six weeks, the break in the weather was welcomed.

When we got to the Beach we found patches of red tide, so we decided to fish around them and see what we would find at the surf break. We’ll we had enough activity so that the trip turned out to be a good time.
