Now I am not sure if it's a rockpile or a wreck.

I was pretty excited thinking I got a halibut but as I was reeling it up, it didn't shake or fight at all, just dead weight. After that, I thought I got a big piece of coral.

I hooked a big piece of coral once and got excited thinking it was a slab but yes the no fighting thing after a little bit was a disappointment. Although I have hooked big hali's that don't really fight until about half way up.

Whenever something like that happens to me, I am glad to get my :jig: back..... Next time......We are always just one drop away from the fish of a lifetime...
