I'll be selling my BigWater PDL this March and buying a SoloSkiff...99% SCal ocean use. I watched a lot of YT on the Solo...However, who is fishing one in SCal? Give me your thoughts please.

Get one. I've been using mine in the Ocean and mostly launch from La Jolla Shore for the last 3 1/2 years. My friend Mikey (SDFISH&SIPS) is the San Diego distributor and can help you, even with rigging it. I just got one from Mikey, haven?t even received the outboard from Online Outboards yet, but I know one thing: I would love to gang up with other SS fisherman to learn as much as I can. Shoot me a PM if you are open to it.

I am in my young 70?s, and live in Orange County, so probably will be launching out of Newport or Dana Point, but can stretch all the way to LB or SD.
