Was Turner's there? I haven't been able to find a list of vendors--30 minutes is not worth the price of parking and admission.

This Hall Show was only a shadow of the former shows. It's about time for Bart and family to ride off into the sunset. :cheers1:
There weren't very many fishing vendors and the ones that were there, were in booths much small than normal. Shimano and other major players were not in attendance. Turners, Islands Tackle and Bob Sands were the major retail vendors that were there.
One of the major sunglass vendors said that Friday was one of the worst show days ever, he said that he sold only one pair of glasses on Friday. One of the major vendors (who will remain unnamed) said that Friday was the worst sales they've ever had at a Hall show.
$15 to park and $25 for a ticket = $40 Not worth it in MHO.
No kayaks and some boats but they were all in the main hall along the wall as "filler", and the "airwall" was up to divide the main hall into a smaller area.
Save your money and go to the OC PCS Show, We'll see you there:you_rock:

According to a few vendors, The Del Mar Hall Show was canceled yesterday as Bart walked the LB show and broke the news to the vendors :o

Thanks for posting this info. I'm a long-time Hall show attender in both LB & Del Mar. Del Mar was disappointing last year. Turners prices were decent, but I didn't see those killer deals on tackle and rods from the other retailers.
Aside from Bart Hall show management and strategy, US economics, stink. We have had 4 years of insane bloated government spending, resulting in blow out taxes, reducing consumer spending.
Overall, I have been able to get decent deals at Fisherman's Landing Tackle Days in November and Dana Landing's tackle Spring sale. I also plan to go to PCS and see what all the buzz is about, I am sure it will be fun and will buy a few things.
