I am a bigtime Obama supporter, or maybe just a guy who is fed up with the crap that we have had to endure for the last 8 years. Either way I find it a little silly that our fishing forum has sunk to the level of discussing the hotness of McCain's running mate.

The political stuff will work its way out. Maybe we should focus our attention here to our mutual interest in kayak fishing.

Definitely the most attractive VP candidate ever. I'm concerned about her fundamentalist christian views and the fact that she has young children, one as recently as April this year. My own job performance suffered when my kids were that young. I had planned on voting for McCain but this makes me think about it some more. I'll make the call when I see more revealing photos. lol

Slayersmith is completely out of line, and just plain ignorant. I think this country needs to talk about politics more often, we are too divided and do need to find a middle ground. But racist comments like that take us back many years. It's ok to disagree with Obama's politics or agenda or actions, but to comment on race.... just weak. I hope you take these comments seriously and look inside yourself and become a better person.
