Forum software upgrade 9/14/08

Heads up - we'll be upgrading the forum software today.

OK Gang...

We just upgraded forum software to the latest version.

FYI: This upgrade was necessary to address some newly discovered security vulnerabilities.

The version we're now running will not allow users to have "weak" passwords (for example: the password that matches their forum user name).

PLEASE NOTE: Upgrade process automatically detected and reset passwords for users that had weak passwords.

In case of BWE, there was about 30+ users. The email was sent out to those users informing them of their new forum password. Sure thing - if the email address in thier user profile was not up to date, they'll never see that email.

If you have any problem logging in, please send email to:

admin @ bigwatersedge.com (no spaces around the @ symbol).

Should you notice any problems/forum malfunctions, please post here and we'll address.
