Is there a source for GPS coordinates for the edges of La Jolla's underwater canyons (Especially Scripps Canyon)? I fish the area a lot and think having that kind of information would be helpful.

Is there something on tempbreak.com that I don't know about? They have a bottom detail, but it's not very... detailed.

Time on the water using the fish finder. I don't know of a GPS site for numbers.

I don't know how detailed he wanted. You can get bottom detail, zoom in as far as you want and put the pointer where you want for gps#'s.

From the Tempbreak map, just click on a blue square buoy to be taken to MapTech site which has the contours and lat/long coordinates detail.
Also, www.Trails.com (http://www.Trails.com) - "TopoFinder" has decent maps, basically the same feature with a 14-day free trial.

I don't know what kind of GPS you have, but on many nicer models you can insert a Navionics card that has the bottom details (some cards even have 3-D views if you want). Can buy them online or at West Marine locally.

Do you paddle a Royak boat?
Or is your name just Roy.
Do you dive off it?

I have a map by "Fish-n-Map Co. San Diego Inshore (Dana Point to Mexico) that shows the LJ canyon and includes GPS coordinates. I bought it at Sports Authority. It has lot's of good info.
