Problem with FF

So I took the yak out on its maden voyage with the new FF and kayatank yesterday. Love the new electronics but the FF readout turns to brail every time the pump for the kayatank turns on(timer). What can I do to fix this? Just take it off the same battery or is there another way? Thanks, Gary

You should contact kayatank if you are using the kayatank timer. It's suppose to have electronics to filter out the noise. What is the brand and model of your FF? I have a feeling that some FF are more susceptible to noise.
