Please send a letter today!!! If you are attending, next week or not, (and YOU ARE) a letter still needs to go out today, over Ken Wiseman's disregard of the RSG members decision.
We need to let the Denise Ducheny know we are unhappy, she is the MLPA budget chair, maybe this can help Sen. Florez concerns, and inquiry.
Best if you write it in your own words, but feel free to copy mine, or improve upon it. I wrote it quickly, but it is in the mail, right now!

Just sent out my letter. Thank you to all the people who have given their time and effort to defend our right to fish. Fishing is and should not be a crime!!!

Senator _____________________
I am writing this letter to express my outrage at the undermining of MLPA initiative process by the Executive Director Ken Wiseman.
Mr. Wiseman's recent actions suggest he has lost his objectivity when it comes to the process. He has shown a clear bias, as he has now directly interfered on the behalf of a minority of the non-consumptive RSG members, and kept the External C proposal on the table even though it has been clearly voted out. 64 RSG members voted, and External C was supposed to be out of consideration. It just did not get enough votes to be kept in. In response to this Wiseman ignored a democratically voted decision by the Regional Stakeholder Group (RSG) members and against their votes and wishes, has now kept Proposal C in even though it did not have the votes to remain in contention.
You either have a fair process or you do not.
What is the point of voting, or making decisions if the votes are going to be disregarded in the end for special interests. This is a insult to everyone who has participated in the process. Why should people participate if ultimately all the work will be ignored, and the results are going to be overruled by a few people with a set agenda? If one of the more consumptive or fishing friendly proposals been voted out, I seriously doubt Mr. Wiseman would have added it back in, so what is his justification for such preferential treatment on the anti-fishing side.
I ask you, as one of our California state legislators, and the MLPA Initiative budget chair, how can you allow such bias in this process? We the public need you to supply the necessary oversight in this matter.
Please send me a written response as to your position in regards to these actions by Mr Wiseman, and the reintroduction of Proposal C though it was voted out of the process by the RSG.
I would like to know why this was allowed.
Whether you actually support Ken Wiseman's actions in this regard.
If you do you support them, your reasoning behind that support. (please be specific)
If you do not support them then what plan of action you have as to dealing with this problem, as to the issues of bias and circumvention of due process.
Thankyou:

Sent all new letters to my list of people plus Denise Ducheny and pointed out this specifically as an unfair decision by wiseman going against the whole process of the MLPA.
Also emailed everyone one listed on the MLPA staff and Fish and Game staff including Wiseman

F'N Wiseman!
To him, the public has been nothing more than a thorn in his side. But, I think he really stirred up the hornets nest with this one.
I absolutely hate people who don't play by the rules.
Letters going out.
A BIG THANKS to all who are making the meetings up North. I just can't do it with my kids schedules. But drinks/lunch on me to anyone I meet who makes the effort.
