6-27-09 There were over 100 + people at the benefit tournament. Now you need to continue that good momentum and show up tonight. Tonight is the last MLPA workshop in San Diego before our reps go back to drawing maps with the other side at their next meeting. This is our chance to give them some advice and ammo.

Here is the link for the comment form for tonight. You can fill it out ahead of time at home/work to make a more coherent and logical statement. It doesn't get any easier than this. All you have to do is show up, turn it in and talk to some of the people working for our cause.

They also had a second half sheet form at the meeting. The other form was to comment on specific MPA's on specific maps. I commented on the map Lapis 1, La Jolla 2 SMR. That one would take away a very large portion of our fishing grounds in LJ. That map would kill us kayakers and spearo's in LJ.

Make sure to fill out both forms. Comment on the general draft proposals, and comment on which specific reserve on which specific map you cannot live with.

We had over 100+ people at the benefit tournament. Where were they all last night in Carlsbad?

I got there a little early last night. It was a great way to get more complete answers from the RSG members and I team people as it wasn't busy yet, and they weren't tired of answering our stupid questions yet.

I work night shift and took a long lunch to make it. It looked like a pretty good sized group. Back at work now, an hour or so well spent. Looked like more fishermen than enviros. Thanks for the push to go, I wouldn't have gone without this forum.
