OEX Mission Bay Kayak Fishing Night Tournament:
Friday, August 21st

We're so excited about our new awesome location at Santa Clara Point - we thought we'd throw a little tourney/par-tay to introduce you to this great spot! Burgers, kayak fishing tips from one of the best and a little friendly wager to boot - is there a better way to spend a Friday night?
$10 Entry
6:00 pm - BBQ
6:30 pm - Seminar w/Ed Howerton
7:30 pm - Launch
10:30 pm - Weigh in Deadline
10:45 pm - Awards

Top 3 Fish Place in the $$$$:
50% 1st place
30% 2nd place
20% 3rd place
-Can only weigh one fish and must be released alive.
-Bass only
-No live or cut bait, just artificials
-Boundaries are the bridges
-Human powered vessels only
-Must conform to all DFG Regs as well as Coast Guard regs
-You must have a light to be legal

Hey guys sorry to have to do this but we are going to be Postponing this event.

The weather down here turned bad quickly with a ton of rain and pretty strong winds. We feel that high wond and a night tournament probably isnt a good idea.

We will keep you updated on the rescheduling of this event.

Yep. Times will most likely be the same however ill speak with Brent as we might want to switch it up with the tides.

Hey all,

I'll be down visiting from Santa Barbara for some business and decided to extend to the weekend and bring my gear. This tourney was just pointed out to me by another forum member, but since I don't know the bay at all, I'd love to tag along with someone if there is anyone that wouldn't mind a bit of company. I'm a strong paddler with a fast yak and a radio, so I won't hold you up. :D
