Grunion run

Did anyone hit the beaches and fish last night?

Last couple of runs, I been skunked on the grunion. I think the best I did, was to scrape up one or two, only to snag them up on eel grass, and loose kelp. :? That's at Dog Beach, I'd be curious to try another spot, Mission beach Jetty side :?:

I may try tomorrow (thurs night). Do you just pin the grunion on once you pick them up and toss them out with some lead to keep them down? If I go I will be at dog beach/rivermouth.
