Same old same...
leave San Pedro at 2am (after little to no sleep)
Launch at 4:30am

Fog was crazy

I was looking to upgrade my cherry popping WSB from earlier this month

At somewhere near hour 14 on the water it all came together:D

Damn I love La Jolla, Damn I love kayak fishing.

2 new personal best:

16 hours on the water
&
46.10lbs - 52" of WSB love.

Very nice Don.
You deserve it for all the long hours you have spent out there, and with a long drive home as well.

Nice feeeeesh...way to put in the hours, well deserved...

I am still trying to figure out why the phooooook this bite is happening now that I found a yob, had a busy weekend, and have to live vicariously through the exploits of amigos?

Don,

Dude, after 8 hrs on the yak, my stomach
muscles start to hurt big time. 14hrs? Then
drive home???

But I guess with a large WSB and a bottle of
diet coke, things are just honkey-dorey!!

Way to fish!! Persistence, it's the only thing
in life that works!

Awesome fish.. If I'm not mistaken you were out on Friday as well?

That's a sweet "upgrade"

There is no way I could do 16 hours on the water- that's impressive ( I think I did 12 one time, and I literally had trouble walking back to my truck after being wet, cold, tired and dehydrated!) Then again, its hard to call it a day sometimes, I know the feeling.

Larry,
I just started building a house right above the cove there.
been seeing a lot of spearo's coming and going this past week.

It looks like time for a little local exploration

Maybe cash in on a little dope from all my free diving MLPA brothers?
PM's would be welcome:luxhello::D

Sweet fish Don. Congrates!

I grew up in Pedro. Went to Taper Elemetary in the 70's. Good times.

Two trips with a total of eight hours driving, twenty-four hours of fishing and a 100% success ratio on monster WSB. Persistence, patience and confidence pays off, again.
I don't think I need to tell you that anymore...your diploma is in the mail, Don. :cheers1:
