Other fish were caught, some other lost. No sharks in sight. Dogs sleeping on the water made me feel better.
Good to hear that, will be on the pond manana.....
Dogs sleeping on the water

Nicely done guys. Those are some quality fish. Looks like we are getting pay back for that long dry spell. Conditions look awesome.

Dayum, you two are on fire!....that's soooo......hmmm....HOOT!:P and nice yellow Ryan, I would be just as happy with one of those - it's a better fight anyhow!
i think all it took to get the bite going was me going skiing up at mammoth last weekend. should be wide open for about a month as i recover from my elbow surgery which i had this morning . it went well and hopefully back on the water sooner rather than later. keep the exciting reports and pictures coming.

Kurt,
Hope your elbow gets better. I too am up here in Mammoth for the last week with my family skiiing and snowboarding. Left 4/9 isn't that when it started to go off in LJ? Funny how that happens.
Incredible catches to all who were lucky enough to get in on the action.

Kurt, I hope you recover soon.
The best chance to catch fish at LJ is stay away from Brad. He’ll pick up everything around him.
