I am a member on other fishing sites and honestly this has got to be the most peaceful of all the sites. I can't stand all the back and forth fighting you get on some of the other sites. Everyone on here seems to be top shelf and helpful beyond belief. I can't wait to get my arm healed up so I can get out on the water with you all.:you_rock:

When do you get the green light?

Too true.
The civility and gentlemanly attitudes found here are hard to find elsewhere.
BWE is a classy bunch, and I think that reflects well on the moderators who do an excellent job with this site.
But of course, the users keep it helpful, clean and friendly. After all, it is about the fishing and not the egos.
Great observaion Jimmy.

Thanks all, :you_rock:

Willy

When do you get the green light?

I'm working on strengthening the arm right now, and I meet with my doctor on June 1, I'm going to ask him if I can get back to fishing and other activities then. So I hope on June 1.

Cheers to that, it's all about the respect of others and everyone showing the same love, fishing from a kayak, feeling the pull of a fish tugging you across the surface of the water and enjoying the reward of landing a trophy fish.
It is a great site to learn things about kayak fishing and meet some cool people as well.:cheers1:

This might be a good time to thank all the moderators and to give them some recognition for their dedication and hard work to keep this board going. THANK YOU!!! We know you guys do a lot behind the scenes.

But I only know one of the moderators - Adi aka Lamb. Who are the others?

Agreed- props to the admins, moderators, founders etc.. all the people behind the scenes who make this thing work..

I sometimes go looking on other sites for things like recipes- or specific searches, and usually end up finding a couple bits of useful info, but only after sifting through pages of useless rambling, lots of bickering, and lots of ego's!

Everyone here on bwe have always been nothing but helpful, constructive, and courteous. I am a (much) better fisherman thanks to this site. :you_rock:

Jimmy- hope you're able to get out there soon.. I was sidelined with health issues for about 4 months, so I know the feeling!

I have to agree with all of you. BIG THANK YOU to the admins and mods and the members of BWE :you_rock:.

Jimmy,

Time to strenghten the arms by doing a few :cheers1: curls!

Even though my Dr. doesn't want me doing curls with weights yet I have been doing some light weight curls. I think I know what you're meaning about the curls however, been there done that.

As soon as I learn to catch fish I'll buy a big-ass boat, go over to bloody decks, post up some porn on my avatar and start talking s**t. Oh what the hell, why wait till I know how to catch fish?

On second thought, maybe I'll just stay put. I like this community too.

:luxhello: that pretty much sums it up right there!!! It's a cool site with some good info, but it pails in comparison to BWE.
