Hotels near the launch

What hotels near LJ will be best to stay at with Kayaks?

I've stayed at the Hyatt which isn't right next to the launch, but is up La Jolla Village Road on the other side of the 5. The crazy thing is that I am a Motel 6 kind of guy but this passed weekend, booked on hotwire and got a room at the Hyatt for 99, Motel six was 87 or something like that. Worth the $12 extra to stay a little closer and in a plush bed in my opinion.
