weedless jigs?

do you guys ever feel like hook up success is reduced by weedless jigs? Just curious if anyone is every motivated to trim the weed guard down to still push aside eel grass, etc but allow for better hook penetration? Thanks

I love the term weedless because every time I throw one out I get hooked to the weeds.

How I avoid getting stuck in the grass is using spinners to buzz over top of the grass.

Go to OEX in Kerney Mesa and pick up some Triks Spinbombs and buzz them over top the grass or in the kelp and you'll have a blast.
