Last Week

left the harbor at 9:30pm towards the Hidden... worked an area just short and a mile east.

picked up this 23lb yft.... just enough to keep me fed until east cape next month.

haha... in no way, shape, or form do I rock but thanks for sayin so...

as I've told a few of the people of this forum in person... Ive caught more fish than I can count over my life time (short I know). Most of those caught while some captain is putting me on the fish. When its just you out there and no help... it brings fishing to its purest form.

That yellow was my most rewarding fish to date...

If I feel ok, Im gonna head out tomorrow am. PM me, lets fish some time!

Photo quality of the tuna was so good that I was tempted to edit it a little, hope you dont mind.

Great looking yellow from the yak. I hope for a quality one like that one of these days.

Photo looks way overdone imho. Sharpening halos all over the edges and the highlights looks pushed overboard even more. I like Nick's original photo. He is a professional afterall as you can tell by his second photo. :)

my wife shot that second photo... she focused on the fish and not me. its all good though.

that second image was shot at f2.8 1/100 @3200iso with a Nikon D700, 24-70 at 45mm. In other words it was almost dark at my place.
