I've been fishing La Jolla for many years and though I'm bummed they have closed some nice fishing areas, there is some good news! YT and WSB swim around and don't stay in one place:luxhello:.

So if you are thinking about selling your kayak, STOP!

There are many good areas still to fish and it might even make you find something that you didn't know was there. I for one don't agree with the closeures but can you imagine how big the Calicos are going to be in 5 years when you poach it:rolleyes:.

I hope this has change your mind about kayak fishing. See you on the water!:jig::cheers1::sifone:

Matt,
They're not closed yet. It sounds like the PSO has a legitimate lawsuit, filed just today.

I've had poached Salmon, poached eggs, poached chicken, and poached fruits - some of which was done in a delightful sauce.

-But I haven't tried poached Calico yet.

How about Yellowtail, Sea Bass, and Halibut- Do they poach well ? :sifone:
