Found this seller awhile back and purchased two rods from him for less than $80.
Check it out.

Only problem is you just don't get the deal you think with this seller on eBay.

Yep, he's got a bunch of Rods for sale, but his last Sabiki rod sale ended with a bid of:

$40.99 + $12.00 (shipping)

Guess that wasn't enough for the seller cause they automatically listed it for sale right away.

Much much cheaper to just make your own.

He's not reselling it just listing more of them.

He's sold 23 of them so far all but two sold for 30 bucks or less most for 28-29 dollars.

He's got possitive feed back on all but one of them, back in June he sold one when he was out of stock and sent it delayed. I'd say he's a safe bet.

Wow, ebay terminology sure makes it misleading. When I look in my eBay watch area, under "Ended" sales, once the sales was over it says:

eBay Note: The seller relisted this item for 97% less than the previous price.

Yeah that is just ebay spam. They are trying to get you to put the new auction on on your watch list by pretending it's the same item, but it's not the same one, just the same thing.

When the auction closed the seller get's a notice that says something like: "Do you wish to sell another item like this one?"

Which allows the seller to relist an identical item with the same ad format. Since the ads take some time to put in sellers usually use that option when they have multiple items to sell but it's not the same item each time.

Go to sellers items, then click on completed items on the left, then enter Sabiki as a search and you will see he actually sold that last one for $40, but it's a high price and out of the 23 he's sold most of them have sold for right around $30.

If you then check his feedback you can see he's got no negatives for those sales which means they actually got them. Sellers that back out of deals always get negative feedback.

Usually only rookies do it and they learn fast that people complain, because it's not only a shitty way to do business but technically against the rules to back out of auctions once they have completed.
