Wife read there's one opening up in El Cajon for us in east county.

Thank you for posting this up. It's about time we get one down here and that store gets something substantial in that shop. That's going to be in direct competition with Big 5 across the street.

Might be a good place to buy baseball cleats, but when it comes to tackle and kayak gear I'll always go to Squidco, Anglers Arsenal, and Fastlane. I'm not a big fan of huge chain stores.

When it comes to buying Kayak stuff I'll hit up OEX Mission bay. When it comes to fishing gear I'll go where they have the best prices. I personally like Squidco, A.A., also but if I see a deal at Big 5, BPS, or other locations I have no problem going there too if I can save money.

It seems like Dick's is always 20-30% higher on anything that I've ever had an interest in there. I won't step foot in one now.

I've been in the one by me when it opened....great if you are into high dollar shoes, sport clothes, bicycles ; as for kayaks one ocean kayak and a bunch of ?able brands go see for yourself.....:sifone:H

I agree with others. We have one near me in Murrieta. It's like "Chicks" who they bought out. Not very appealing for kayaking, fishing, or hunting.
