i will be at LJ on 3/31 first light

looks like nice weather and surf, to top it off 7% Waning Crescent Moon.
high tide @ 8:52am 4.56 ft low @ 2:52pm 0.3

so... who's going?? need to know how much beer to bring :D

Ohhh, well, I didn't know it was Cesar Chavez day. Thanks for the heads up. I can't work on any holiday.

Rodax,

I was out there about 545 AM. Waves were looking large and I opted for calmer water. Hit up Carlsbad lagoon for the first time. Picked up a big spotty but that was it. How was the launch through the surf?

i probably launched at 6:45, the beach was getting full of kayaks. quite a few people going out early. the launch was easy and the waves tapered off so coming back in at noon was even easier. there were quite a few going out for the second shift. hope they have good luck.:cheers1:
