YOU are right, we leave Monday morning. Some of us are doing the HOW event Saturday. Tight Lines.

John M 10-21-2016 07:37 AM

Colin is out. Mike Fitz is going to take his spot.
We will arrive 10/26 and leave 10/30.
Plan on doing diner at restaurant with chicken mole. Sat night?

Please add us to the confirmed list.

makobob 10-21-2016 08:09 AM

ADDED you have been. Tight Lines and I hope there are fish left with your names on them. With 20 people going on this trip I expect to see lot's of nice fish. Weather is looking VERY GOOD, highest winds I see for the whole week are at 10mph. SHOULD be GREAT FOR ISLAND TRIP. Tight Lines.

Mahigeer,

I will have a large 3 burner stove with 2 griddles along with a fire grate and another griddle to cook over an oak fire that I am bringing. So my guess is you can cook all at once and we are happy to help. Jefe

Mahigeer 10-21-2016 08:30 AM

Wonderful. Thanks.

Looking forward to meeting everybody,

Catching some fish,

Hearing good jokes around the campfire,

and celebrating life.

Mahigeer 10-21-2016 08:39 AM

Is this dinner itinerary correct?

Monday night======MrPukashell/ Domtesta27
Tuesday night======Jefe Dos and company
Wednesday night===MakoBob/ Mahigeer
Thursday night=====Yakdout/ Mike scales/ Monstafish
Friday night=======Gr8fuldud/ Sivak
Saturday night=====John M/ Mike Fitz
Sunday night======

1) If someone does not have a night and wants to share expenses with Bob and me, please send me a PM.
2) Bob may not say anything, but the camp chips in for the water. It has been $5.00/person in the past.

makobob 10-21-2016 08:39 AM

I also have 3 burner with large griddle, and misquite wood.

I have a 12' X 16' shade that I'll bring in case we need more.
I'll also bring some fire wood.

MrPukaShell 10-21-2016 10:08 AM

Mako,

How do you get the mesquite? Do you get it by the truckload? If so how much?

Thanks,

Puka

makobob 10-21-2016 10:28 AM

One of two ways. Once a year or so I can go cut some a couple miles from camp, or I can buy some from a local. Buying is more of a donation to a needy family in the area.

This time of year it is MUCH better fishing in Baja. Fall is the best fishing and Gonzaga is a GREAT area. AND it LOOKS like perfect weather. HIGH 80's days mid 70's nights and winds UNDER 10 mph the whole week. PERFECT!!!!!!!!!
Great weather, fishing, family friends, and food, how could anyone ask for more? Tight Lines.

Sunday is open, but you won't be there.

Maybe you can change nights with some one else.
