I went to Fred Hall last year to pickup a second pair. I told him that a tiny bit of the rubber on the black fin had come loose. He told me to send them back. They fixed and cleaned them up to the point where they look brand new, the warranty is good to go and tested.

With the promo code the most expensive pair is $25 so try a pair and you tell me. Team Shimano is wearing them..

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought someone asked about sight-fishing for Yellowtail?

Then I made the mistake of reading this whole thread---and now even I'm confused. I was going to add some valuable insight to this discussion, but I wouldn't want to mess it up.

Further proof: Gear questions and the internet. Might as well mix water and oil. :D

How about for us poor bastards with bad eyes and have to wear prescription glasses? Clip on?

contact lenses FTW!

also.. if you want some good polarized for under $20, walmart. i own Oakleys, Spys, Dragons, Smiths, Carreras, Ray Bans, etc. and i'd have to say that the Walmart polarized sunglasses have done the best for sight fishing.

Same here, I need some decent polarized clip-ons.

I currently wear JULBO glasses and really like them. Polarized, very comfortable, and they float. The SWELL model comes with a detachable frame that makes them feel like your wearing goggles. I even wear them while launching and landing. There are different lenses with different characteristics to choose from. JULBO has been making glasses for 125 years so while you may have never heard of the name they really do know what their doing.
Check out their website for more info.

$250 below range

Amber will give you best contrast, grey will give best bright light conditions and truer colors. :D
