I am on my 3rd pair of Kaenon Gauge glasses. They are great glasses. I had my first pair for about year and a half when the kaenon name plate was ripped off on a camping trip. I emailed Kaenon and was told that they would repair the name plate if I sent them in. At the time the lenses had some wear, so I asked them to look into replacing them. I was more than willing to pay for some new lenses. To my suprise, they ended up sending me a complete new pair of glasses (#2 for me) free of charge. Ufortunately, I lost that pair a couple of months later but I was so impressed with Kaenon's customer service that I bought my 3rd pair....great glasses and a great company. Plus I could be wrong but I think they are based in SoCal.

Hey Joe,
I love my kaenons but it dosen't hurt that I won my $200.00+ pair from Fastlane in a raffle. That sounds like a good deal at Nordstrom rack I think I will be heading there tommorow for a back up pair.

+1. Have lost every pair that cost more than $100... haven't lost my $20 polarized cheapos...

Keep an eye on steepandcheap.com and its sister site whiskeymilitia.com. They both have had awesome deals on oakleys, kaenons, costa del mar, and other glasses. You just have to keep checking for the updated deals. I actually bought a pair of polarized dragons today for $39.99....normally over $150.

Never had a single pair of sunglasses make it through a pump out there. I think everyone can agree on Polarized though. Welcome to life in high def

I like blue costa del mar fathoms.

I have been wearing Costa Harpoons for years now. I have the green mirror glass lens and it definitely holds up better than poly. The customer service is great too (as with Maui Jim). I have sent my current pair back to the factory twice, once for a broken arm (totally my fault, replaced for free) and the second time for a broken lens( again my fault, they took a direct 10foot drop onto nonskid, new lenses $60). I am now on my 4 th year of ownership. BTW, I also own polarized Oakleys and Maui Jim, Costas are my favorite.
