I'm up for the DP routes, either the pier or SanO. The wind should be at our backs too. You guys pick the date, as long as it falls on a weekend I should be able to go. I have a truck and can carry another kayak and some equipment.
I do want to fish on the route though, and the time can fly if you find a good spot, so maybe the pier would do for starters. Just a thought. Or run right to SanO and fish there or something. |
Heres a previous trip from dana to san ono http://www.kayaksportfishing.com/jou...san-Onofre.htm

After reading that I really wanna do this thing. Im in for an adventure. .

Beach arrival just north of the pier at the parking lot @ Pico & PCH may be a good spot. I've been eying that to spot for a launch. There is sand but also a paved walk-way over the RR tracks and no rocks. Metered parking though. BUT free street parking nearby. So for those with trucks can park for free. While you retrieve your trucks to haul us back, the others can beer up and the 7-11. ;) Maybe we can coordinate a little BBQ back at baby beach or something? |
Im down for whatever.
