i also tried wash bottles in past. but it typically still reqd me to use a towel or rag, to wipe off many stains, even after squirting down with bottle.

now, i just carry a big sponge instead. which i dip in water, and then use sopping wet to SCRUB kayak clean of blood & dirt & fish grime, etc.

to me, this is easier & more efficient than using a squeeze bottle, which usually also requires a towel or rag or similar, to scrub off many of the smudges, stains, etc frequently occurring on fishing 'yaks.

if the sponge falls overboard, it floats, and thus easily retrieved.

and the sponges can be bought very inexpensively at Target, WalMart, etc.
when it gets grimy & dirty from use, just throw into trash, and replace with a new sponge.

I cut one of those up, used glue to attach it to the center hatch cover on my Raptor.
Don't use it that often, but sure appreciate it when I do.
