Not even close...Either I got lucky or fishing Mexico is easy...or at least easier
than La Jolla.

While it may seem that LJ is easy and fish gravitate towards it, there are lots of things
about it that really make it difficult sometimes.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but 1 Mex trip doesn't change things...

Right before we came in I get hit by something
large. Got it close to the yak then it pulls the
hook. Strange thing was when I reeled in, the tail
of the mack was still on my trap hook. Never seen
that before, its always the head that comes back.
Big squid I think.

Just for the record, I was joking about loosing the kayaks. His concern was really
for us. They saw or heard of a sea lion being taken by the GW.
