Damn just reading this now... Rest In Peace Mako BOB.

Bob was the man, he embodied the baja spirit, a true legend.

I propose not just a paddle out, but we need to bring back the la jolla or MB tournament for Bob's memorial. Maybe we can raise money for his wife, or a charity of her choice if she would like to remain private in her grieving. Bob was a huge supporter of HOW.

I could ask Paul if we could get another signed print for a raffle or auction. I believe Bob won the auction for the halibut print with his generous donation to HOW a few years back. He will be missed. :(

3 years ago in April 2017, what a fun day.

So Sad!!

Just found out about this last night, one of the nicest guys ever. Always willing to share his fishing knowledge and his favorite place on earth, Gonzaga Bay!

Bob, see you in heaven! Yanni

I never even met the Bob personally, and he nevertheless extended an open invitation to makoville, sight unseen, out of the goodness of his heart.

That's a rare breed of generosity we'd all do well to emulate. A fine fisherman, and a better man. RIP.
