This will sound like a google search and EVERYONE's offered this same info in the past but this was real for me: Greenies for bait...random depths from 45'-75'. I think the most important part to all of this was putting in 24 hours on the water, baited on the bottom. (4) trips (6) hours each. Butt fishing is very, very boring stuff until you get the shot. Like Matt implied...my wife thought I was nuts because I had that gaze in my eyes saying..."I'm going back out, I know they're there." The first two days were zips but I had that feeling and kept trying. I heard RobFish got a yellowtail on Saturday but I had decided to stay on this spot targeting butts for Sunday even though my first two days were ZERO bites...Jim |
