Do I have the wrong card?

I purchased the Elite 7 HDI Gold

Is your card plugged in? It should give you an option for fish n chips if you really have a navionics gold chip.

Your version of gold is different than mine. Try inland or coastal and check again for MLPA's

Not on any of them. Fish n Chips must not be included with gold now? I just purchased it in July

I will let you know when the card arrives.

When I look at my card details on the navionics website its only says north america bundle,
should it say gold somewhere also?

Yes I think it should say gold, could be mistaken though. Look at the card adapter itself. If it does not say gold then I don't think you have gold

not sure about your card, but for a good time and a wild ride click on that download updates icon and see what happens! :D

Ive done it twice already. Takes 50 mins and didnt change anything. Im stumped

I guess ill have to call Lowrance tomorrow

Did you buy your card separately or did in come with your lowrance in a "gold" bundle

I think the update on your card isn't working. Especially if it takes 50 minutes. It should definitely change something

The download portion takes close to 45 mins to download 2gb of data. Its slow on the host side. I've downloaded at 2mb/s from good hosts. It finishes downloading and then starts the install process which takes 3 mins or so and then says its finished and to eject the card

The "update" seems to be downloading the entire data on the card fresh

Might be installing the wrong update.

Sorry I was referring to the navionics update taking 50 mins. The lowrance update was only a few Mbs and was done very quickly

This file is different then the one from your original posted link. This may fix it. Ill give it a try


So this ended up downgrading the software since this was the 2.0 update and the recent update was 4.0, I tried reading my card on the 2.0 and it didnt show fish n chips. So I think its just not on the card. It was worth a shot though
