I want to get my own for the this trip.

I have Slime portable inflator. I use it on my Jeep when I go off-roading. It pumps pretty quick, don't bother wasting your time on one of those from Harbor Freight.

Bob
I am still planing on going on the trip.
Colin will have to be working on his ship in Seattle so he can't make.
Bill who was down with us last time is going to take his place.
We plan on doing diner at the restaurant, Chicken Mole. It was great last time.
Will be driving down 10/25 or 26. Plan on staying until Sunday.
Really looking forward to the trip.

John

Looking forward to some fly fishing this time if the winds allow it.

I hope this 3rd trip would make up for the last two times. Especially the last one.

So here we go.......

1) Can we make this thread a sticky?

2) Should we bring firewood, or it will be too hot for fire at night?

998 to go!

I've been using this one https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for the last few years.

I do have some fire wood (mesquite) so that should not be a problem UNLESS you want a large fire, then bring some. Evening temps could be cool enough to need a jacket or hoodie. Also bring a comfortable chair for evenings. Sun glasses, long sleeve shirts, sun screen and buffs will all make your trip more enjoyable. One extra propane bottle in the larger 5lb size for the BBQ and 10 gallons of PREIMUM gas for the Quad would cut my expenses down. I have fuel for the pellet grill. Lot's of flies, your tackle and CHECK those drags. Tight Lines.

Thanks for the tip.

Mako,

Do you have fuel empty cans with you? If so I will give you the money to fill them up just let me know. Will also bring some wood just because.

Thanks,

Yes I have a couple cans. Thank you and tight lines. If you use wire leaders you can expect to loose or tear up 5-6 a day or more. I try to bring a dozen a day just in case. AGAIN check your drags as this coulg put you out of the game without an extra reel. Some cabrilla are roaming the inside areas, corvina on the beach with quite a few ROOSTERFISH from 1 to over 50 pounds in the surf and bay. Bass, bass, bass, triggers, pargo, maybe the dorado and YT will still be roaming. Be prepared for any senario, this is Baja at it's finest.

Thrift stores like Goodwill or Salvation Army. Also if you have the old fashioned type of swap meet where people clean out their used stuff. How many are you looking for?

Just received it today.

A couple of concerns after reading the enclosed information pamphlet.

Do not run more than 10 minutes. Rest for 15 minutes between uses.

To inflate (4) tires, that is a lot of waiting.

Do not run engine while connected to battery.

Wouldn't running the comp. for at least (40) minutes, run the car battery down?

I guess I have to do some dry runs.

^ you probably needed one with a better duty cycle. Really the best way is going on board air.

Something such as this

Ya its a little more but it can do 4 37's on one duty cycle.

Hey Guys,
I will be going to check in on Bob tomorrow after work. Hopefully I can get in to see him. It would be great if we can do something for him when we go down to his place next month. Anybody know if there's something that needs fixing or an unfinished project we could work on?

Dannowar 09-27-2016 10:58 PM

The water tank could use a fill. Might make it down in October. I'd also be happy to help.

makobob 10-05-2016 05:36 PM
