So are there 3 proposed maps? I can't seem to get that info. -Found the maps. Thanks

Whats the difference between the conservation area and reserve area?

Jimmyz123 12-15-2010 12:08 PM

I just tried to locate the maps and could only find Map 3, I'd like to see what Map 2 shows.

Use the search function, if you don't know what these things are by now, then you have been under a rock for the last couple of years!:D

I did a search but my point behind what I was saying is that the DFG has made Map 3 very easy to locate and all the others not so much. Point being is that the writing is on the wall. No I have not been living under a rock I just don't have the ability to break away and attend these meetings as others do. I have supported each and every thing in our favor as I can, and I will continue to do so.

This battle is no where near being over. When peoples jobs are at stake, there is going to be a long court battle.

Holy Mackerel 12-15-2010 12:54 PM

Here ya go, all three maps, took 1 second. All in one spot.

Now back to streaming the meeting. :reeling:

Thank you, I checked that out also.

Did the Bus loads of High School students leave? I love how they bussed them all in and those kids really don't know what they are talking about.

old_rookie 12-15-2010 01:30 PM

I saw TMan speak. He mentioned not seeing any school kids there.

Jimmyz123 12-15-2010 01:35 PM

I thought I saw one who said he was the President of his senior class MPA group. Funny thing is it seemed his dad spoke right after he did. Now they are going through votes.

Holy Mackerel 12-15-2010 01:52 PM

My I.T. dept, put an end to my streaming here... :(

I understand they are voting line by line.

DaveH. said Surf fishing at swami's has been ok'd.

Can someone with streaming ability update this thread with the votes.

thanks!

zinkysd 12-15-2010 02:00 PM

I believe map 2 passed

I did not follow the surf fishing but it looks like they agreed we can bait fish at TP pier. Moving the boundary south.

JoeBeck 12-15-2010 02:02 PM

It's hard to see the maps on the options as shown in the stream. Option 4 went through in LJ I believe that is Map 2?

WHAT!? Are you certain of this???

JoeBeck 12-15-2010 02:04 PM

Decision 18 option 2 did not pass they are voting on option 1 now.

JoeBeck 12-15-2010 02:05 PM

1 passed 3-2

old_rookie 12-15-2010 02:06 PM

It would be good to see the results of the 19 decisions on-line to avoid any confusion or mis-interpreted info. If anyone has a link to the results of the decisions please post it!!!

Correct and from what it looked like to me Map 4 was the smaller of the choices meaning the moved it, as they said, 1 block North and 1 Block South. Is that what you heard also?

JoeBeck 12-15-2010 02:26 PM

Why is this guy Richard B. Roger lecturing us when he admits his business is failing and he is goofy footed? WTF!!!!

I heard that too and stating that the legal threat did not scare him at all.

Jimmyz123 12-15-2010 02:32 PM

Did you catch what they said though? That all this may not matter anyway if the state can't afford to enforce any of it, or if they state also feels that there are other major issues to take on instead. It looks like to me that there is a great chance that this isn't going anywhere and has a long road ahead before it gets finalized.

RK 12-15-2010 02:33 PM

you mean the guy who kept talking about what a waterman he is and how hard he rips and how tough it is to find a good left

Dan 12-15-2010 02:37 PM
