Whoever he is, I'd like to prove him wrong:D

Hobie Mirage Outback with Turbo Fins, they had the color and model that I was looking for.

Thanks to Andy at OEX Sunset beach.

Let the good times begin...

It's Hobie time!

I'd also like to commend you on making a wise decision, George.

When it comes to Mirage Drives, just like women---nothing, and I mean nothing, beats NEW. :D

This Hobie stuff is getting Crazy! I hope the other kayak companies are taking notes. Just fished a tournament and Hobies out numbered other kayaks 3 to 1.

I hope Ocean Kayak comes out with a peddle powered yak soon!

BTW- Nice Yak...Congrats!

I don't know how you paddling purists do it. I probably would have farmed my big WSB had it not been for the mirage drive.

Phatford 04-30-2011 04:11 PM

Hobies give one many more options when used as a fishing platform. It just seems to enhance the experience. You should be happy..

Congrats on the ride.

The politically correct term is, 'weight challenged''.

Besides, the bigger they are the more there is to love.

bmercury 05-01-2011 02:39 PM

sweet hobie, and nice truck rack. I need something like that.

Actually, its potatoe, potato :D But anyway.......yes and no. I'm parting out some items this week. I'm keeping the FF and will part with the bait tank as soon as the new Hobie ones come in. I'm also considering getting rid of my Kaliste bent shaft paddle, may consider a trade for a lower model Werner paddle plus cash or just sell it for straight cash. I don't need a $450 bungee'd to the side of my yak, a lower model will work just as well.
