Decided to let the holiday crowds have the waters this weekend. I plan on getting out on Tuesday. Anyone interested? I'm thinking LJ.

I'm trying to make it down Tuesday if i can work out a carpool situation.

I'll be out there on the 3rd of June. The end of May is just TOO busy in the car business for me to take a day off.

I guess I had the same idea. That is my plan. Love that the launch is open. I'm hoping to be there around 6:15 to 6:30 and plan on being out till 4pm. Remember on Teusdays and Thursdays they do street cleaning on some streets so parking kind of sucks. I'll be in a white X Factor, channel 68. Mark

Hey CKallday71 you don't have to be out all day. Fish till 11AM then go to work in afternoon. Besides you know the saying "Worse day fishing beats best day working!"

Fish, I'll be out there round the same time. Cell, u should come on down. What's stopping you? Channel 68 it is.

I don't have live well so unless I can catch some on the sibiki I think that would be my best bet. Other than yt and swb, is it kelp or rockfish mainly? I have never been there

Cell. That's a good one for trolling I've used it before and also lost them when I hooked something large that ended up braking my 30lb mono. So now I use 65lb braid. I got a live well and if we can make good bait you can just pick some up from me. Come on out. Mark

I have a bait tank. We can both fill her up and u can pull up and use when needed. It worked in the bay with a buddy of mine who didn't have one. Macs usually last a long time, and if we can stay away from the dogs they would last longer. Not 100%, but that lure looks like it would work for threshers. No excuses. Lol

U can catch just about anything. Calicos, sandies, halibut, apparently triggerfish (recent report), rockfish. There are many species to target. Look forward to fishing with you fish11. We chatted for a second at the FHS in del mar.

I remember, I was wearing a walking boot then and I am so glad that's off. So now I've been back doing what I love, fishing on my Kayak. This is going to be my first time this year out at La Jolla. That's my favorite place and I had to work to getting back in paddling shape for all those miles. I am so excited I would have already gone if it hadn't been a Holliday weekend. They can be crazy with the crowds so I like wating till they are over.

Ill be out tuesday with will and another buddy camo tarpon 160 ch 68.

Looks like there will be a few of us out there. Should be fun. I have a buddy who may be with me in a dune revo.

I may join you guys! I was out in Oceanside today, did ok... Landed a big calico but would like a yeller! Haven't been down to LJ for a long time, so not to sure where to park or launch, might go early to investigate.

Were doing a later launch probably around 930 or so haven't had any luck in the am so were switching it up a bit. Ill be on ch 68.

Had a great time fishing and meeting some of you out there. In fact, had soo much fun, thinking about going again Thursday! Lol

Cadillyak, sorry I missed meeting up with you. I don't know if you launched before me. I was on the water by 6:25 untill 5pm. I spent most of the time after making bait getting out past the kelp and trolling Spanish mac and rapalas (no luck with either) kept going out pretty far and then drifting in and then back out again. Josh and Will told me they saw you but some how I missed you. We'll have to do it again. Tight Lines, Mark.
