yak-fishing-socal 11-09-2014 04:41 PM

Yea i was think lj but its a hour and a half dive for me

Cadillyak 11-09-2014 05:00 PM

LJ all the way. An hour and a half is a small price to pay when using a hall pass from the wife. Take advantage!!

If I could go "anywhere" I would be all over lake Mathews and its legendary fishing! Unfortunately LA doesn't want us fishing in its water.... :(

ful-rac 11-09-2014 05:35 PM

The sewer!

619-SWIM-DOG 11-09-2014 06:09 PM

LJ I'll be there tomorrow. :)

jorluivil 11-09-2014 07:25 PM

LJ is a great place and its easy to say that a 1.5hr drive is worth it but its really not, not unless you're fishing back to back days.

yak-fishing-socal 11-09-2014 07:33 PM

Ill be going to Dana Point thank you all for the suggestions...but dana has more trailer parking then lj good luck to everyone going out tomorrow....oh and its my maiden voyage with the new yak and trailer setup

it's been pretty mellow these last couple of days but just make sure you pay attention to the winds.

I'd go for La Jolla for sure. I live in Brea, so I share pretty much the same drive, but it's so worth it!

Hell yeah, I'm sure Irishman, and maybe LBKAYAKDUDE, Caddilyak, Joezee86 might join as well. We should plan it out sometime.

Plan for this Sunday is Newport!

For me ... its simple, I do not like driving far to go fishing, so I stay close to the OC/LA. I would love to fish LJ, but family and work prohibit it.

Some day when my son is done with college LJ will be my homeland ....

Silbaugh4liberty 11-14-2014 03:58 AM

It's a drive for sure. That's why I've only been a few times

GregAndrew 11-14-2014 04:23 PM

San Clemente Is., South end, all day every day. Lots of options, and good visibility for video.

Boom! Once again Greg has stumbled on to the right answer.

YakDout 11-14-2014 05:30 PM

Does this include Baja California? 😁 Cause if so, that's where I would go.
