12/21...Tuna from my canoe in La Jolla
 

I caught this Tuna out there from my canoe today.
If you don't believe it, just ask the tourist who told me.

I love yellowtail tuna

That is clearly a johnny bass.

Freshest caught fish is taken to Irvine Lake's camp out. Those are the rules pal...AND...I get no credit for dragging your arse out of bed to get that tuna? WHATEVER.:the_finger:

Geez, remind me not to go out with you guys. Anyway Mike, good to know there're still out there. I got skunked last Friday afternoon and i started to get little queazy in the slop chop waves. Anyway, I plan on going out again tomorrow for some more abuse.

Is that step ladder for "sight" fishing our of yer canoe?
At least you run into the "smart" tourists.
The ones I run into always say, "this guy caught a fish yesterday", how come you didn't catch anything?

Nice catch as always mike !!! Took this at sunset. The surf is so mellow and launch perfect.
