This bite is already blown, on Fishdope.

Might at well give the plastic nation some dope.

All flyline fish. One surface iron fish. Bite died down around 10. Boils, bait going crazy, and a lot of laughs. Good luck out there. Hope you all get some.

Yep I saw reports elsewhere of good fish being caught on flyline by boats (not fishdope)

Tremendous bite since Wed! Great grade, but too much pressure today kept them from my gaff. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...593f806424.jpg

That was epic! I had just gaffed one and was clipping a gill when I called out a boil. Grabbed my iron in seconds and fired one right into the boil and hooked up. Freaking awesome.

Should know when this site goes quiet, something is up. Glad I was able to get in on it.

Thank goodness that's all it takes. I was hoping, I mean, scared that you had to go to Brokeback mtn with one of those guys before "extending" an invitation.

It'll be packed. Saw three fish brought in all day. Also red crab are back. My two fish had no crab from two days ago.

That...gets you in faster, I'm just sayin. Jim

seaquinn 03-19-2016 09:55 PM

Wow, it may be wide open, but I was out there on Wednesday, 3/16, and to me it was just dead. I saw nothing. Just green water, and literally nothing. I am so surprised to hear it was good, because on Wed, yes, just a few days ago, I was on the water and saw nothing happening.

This sport is so amazing. What we see, and what we don't see.

Would be interested in hearing a bit more specifics on "downhill current". Thinking that would be a current heading toward Mex. Yes? Would that also translate to an outgoing tide...high to low?. Finding the front of it is another question. Thanks for the info.

Pay attention to the way the kelp is angled.

The fleet can have "the bite" the fish get savvy and those that go looking elsewhere on their own program not the internets get rewarded.......
