Big Bear- Questions

What's up fellow yakers.

Can anyone give me some practical advice on the best place or places to launch a kayak at Big Bear? I read that you have to get the yak inspected prior to launch. What is the inspection process look like, and can I get it inspected early in the morning before sun up?

Any advice is welcome and appreciated!

Thanks!

They're looking for any evidence of mussels. Make sure the inside and outside of your vessel is bone dry. To minimize hassle, if they ask you the last place you've launch say [insert current place here].

"My kayak hasn't been in the water for the past year. It's been in my garage" works pretty well, too.
