FOUND AT LA JOLLA 3-1-21, HOBIE PARTS
 

Like the title says A paddle boarder found this in the surf zone at the La Jolla Shores Launch today. He came up to me and asked me if it was mine, I said No. But I told him I could post that it was found on BWE and that it would have a good chance of getting back to it's owner. Now I need the person who lost it to send me a PM and describe the item (in detail) so I can be sure, it get back to the correct person. Thanks for your cooperation.

I launched Sunday morning around 5:45 am. Surf had some bigger sets mixed in with some ok waves. Guy launched right before me at the wrong time and flipped, yard sailed off of his equipment. Im pretty sure this could be his. I hope he's on and can claim it.

Hi there, this is Ben asked me to ask you... Hey Danny , can you message that guy from Big waters edge for me. Tell him the drive was a 180 with kick up fins. The kick up fins only come in new kayaks. You can’t but kick up fins. Also I just lubed the drive and it has blue Madeline grease on the chains. Blue marine grease . Thank you

Awesome. Losing gear on the launch can be tough during the winter. Ive lost a rod and reel in the summer but at least the water was warm enough to wade out and search for it.
