Rick's sub

Caught this trophy on Wednesday, weighed on OEX certified scale in Pt. Loma at 52# even. Tapered out at 49 1/2", no tape shot, but I guess a certified weight will be just fine.

aguachico 02-26-2009 05:25 PM

Congrats Rick. That thing looks like it could eat 10# of squid in 5 minutes.

gary sullivan 02-26-2009 05:29 PM

Rick, you are now in an elite club that few others can boast about. You almost doubled the points for a typical yellowtail with that great catch. Way to hang in there on Wednesday. :notworthy:

Rick, looks like you caught the heavier twin to my 49 incher. That'll provide for some good eats. It couldn't be easy out there on a holiday weekend. :reeling::wsb:

Hey rick... I just knew you were going hook one up before the season ended. I sure wish I was the one who took that picture. All your efforts have paid off. Those WSB fillets are gonna taste good with your home grown tomatoes and veggies. Good job Rick!!
