My Fishing Reel Deals- Compilation of what I found

Decent Deals that I have found through Amazon. Plano is running a deal right now $10 off of $50. So you can get quite a few storage containers. There are some decent deals on the page. Check it out. If you are looking for something in particular leave a commend and ill do my best to find it.

Updated with:

Penn Spinfisher V is actually a pretty decent price.

4500 is $119.99 the others are very moderate too. 133.99 most expensive i think is the huge reel @ 155.99. any ways awesome deals for a great reel. Ended up picking up two of the 4500.

Pretty cool web site!. Penn 975's are fun for YT and yellowfin too. In fact I've caught 25# to 35# Bluefin with that reel. Its now retired as my bait reel.

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP "Fiskadoro" :cheers1: :you_rock:
WOW!!! Even with my connections I still paid more for of each of the two  I bought for my inshore stuff Hali's, sandies & calico's. I should buy a couple/three  more for throwing swimmies for bucketmouths & jailbirds (= Mr. Stripee). That 's either a misprint or an overstock/clearance, but whatever we should nap them up! :D
FFY
Just placed an order for 2 more! :D

I'd say it's got to be a mistake. They are listing the vender as Shimano. Worst case scenario they don't send them and you get Amazon to give you a refund. I've filed a few claims with Amazon and always got great service, either the item or my money back.

MrPatrick 06-08-2013 09:01 PM

Picked up two. I usually hear that I have too much gear, today she said that's a great deal. You should get two! 😍

DanaPT 06-08-2013 09:04 PM

Thanks Fiskadoro. . .

a $250 reel for $80 + tax I had to get it.

Delivery Estimate: Friday July 19, 2013 - Tuesday August 20, 2013 by 8:00pm

I guess we'll see if it's truly the 300ej or something different.

t.n.hughes 06-08-2013 09:16 PM

I just ordered one. Don't know if anybody else noticed this but amazon is giving a delivery date of 7/22 through 8/22. These gotta be a deal from the factory.

I've never run into that problem (fortunately) with Amazon.
Shimano might be clearing their inventory, making way for the new TranX. I'm going to check with Shimano, or a distributor on Monday.
I hate having to switch my bass reels from one rod to another, or in this case from fresh to saltwater rods.
Has anyone noticed that they're not showing up in catalogs?

Bought another Curado. A buddy that works for Shimano said they're getting discontinued. Newer model is going to be smaller with larger line capacity.

Did you order one?

I'm thinking Shimano is coming out with a replacement at ICAST and blowing out the old models. Hence the shipping delay. I heard they're coming out with black Terez rods too... about time! Now if they could just put black knobs on the Trinidads and TranX.

I switched out all my white TN handles with dark grey replacements from a Stella 20K. Only a $20 upgrade.

Unfortunately, this link is now showing the price at $230+. If anybody has an "extra" for a decent price I might be interested.

jruiz 06-10-2013 10:07 AM

I was able to get in on it at 730 this morning

fishinfanatic03 06-10-2013 10:55 AM

I bought four initially and got the email that it was a mistake and that they'll honor one. One is better than none!

CR Yaker 06-10-2013 11:04 AM

Yup, they honoured only one per order. I put in two orders, I get two. :luxhello: Thanks for the the tip Fiskadora, let us know when it happens again. :you_rock:

Here is the email from Amazon.
