Returned to the scene of the crime with similar conditions. Launched with Mike and found bait in the usual spot off the hotel. Current wasn't bad inside but as soon as I got around the point the kelp was pinned down and the river was flowing to Mexico. Tried to get Ken to talk me into another fish but it wasn't happening :D . Some divers said they saw yellows but I saw a whole bunch of nothing. Long paddle back against the current, but otherwise beautiful conditions. Resting and repairing today before a pre-fish Friday AM.
